One dead after single-vehicle crash in Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) - One man died in a single-vehicle crash in Minneapolis early Thursday according to police. 

According to the Minneapolis Police Department, around 12:12 a.m. the driver, who was speeding, lost control and flipped his car, crashing into a tree near 27th Avenue North and Lyndale Avenue North. 

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
