MPD still looking for clues in Terrell Mayes killing

Four years after his death, Minneapolis Police are still investigating the killing of Terrell Mayes.

Mayes, who was 3-years-old at the time of the killing, was shot in his home while attempting to avoid gunfire that erupted outside his home on December 26th, 2011 on the 2600 block of Emerson Ave North.

Minneapolis Police say in the four years since his shooting, they have followed many leads, but still urge anyone with information about the killing to come forward. Additionally, CrimeStoppers is offering a $60,000 reward for anyone whose information helps solve the case.
