Minnesotans and their Golden Retrievers gather for a good cause
NEW BRIGHTON, Minn. (KMSP) - Golden Retriever owners from across Minnesota joined together Sunday to celebrate a good cause.
Retrieve a Golden of the Midwest invited hundreds to the event in New Brighton to play games, make paw print paintings, take photos, swim and more.
The event recognized more than 450 volunteers who support RAGOM and who have rescued 150 goldens and mixes thus far in 2018.
Owners and dogs also took part in Walk for Rescue, which helps support the mission of rescuing, fostering, and finding forever homes for Golden Retrievers and Golden Mixes.
