Minneapolis firefighter involved in hit and run rollover collision

A Minneapolis firefighter was transported to the hospital with minor injuries after a hit and run incident caused his vehicle to roll over on Wednesday afternoon.

The incident occurred on E. River Road and Marshall Street NE. around 3 p.m.

According to a Minneapolis police spokesperson, the suspect vehicle was in the left turn lane on Marshall Street NE to get onto St. Anthony Parkway and decided to go right instead of left, thus pushing the fire department's SUV over the curb while traveling down Marshall Street.
