Memorial Day ceremony honors heroes at Ft. Snelling Cemetery

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Members of the military, government leaders and families gathered Monday at Fort Snelling Cemetery in Minneapolis to honor Memorial Day.

Some of the attendees included Governor Mark Dayton, Senator Tina Smith, Senator Amy Klobuchar, Congressman Tim Walz and keynote speaker Brigadier General Jon S. Safstrom.
