Man airlifted after Meeker County farm accident

MEEKER COUNTY, Minn. (KMSP) - A Litchfield, Minn. man was airlifted to a Minneapolis hospital after getting his leg trapped in a bulldozer, according to the Meeker County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities responded to a home in the 58400 block of 300th Street in Harvey Township around 10:54 a.m. on the report of a farm accident.
Wayne Baumgartner, 61, had been working on a Caterpillar D7 bulldozer when his leg caught in the track when it rolled backwards. Paramedics airlifted him to Hennepin County Medical Center with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
