Keg and Case market opens at old Schmidt Brewery site in St. Paul

At the site of the old, historic Schmidt Brewery is a new marketplace in St. Paul’s West Seventh neighborhood.

Fox 9’s Todd Walker visited the Keg and Case for its grand opening and toured the facility.

Craig Cohen, the developer of Keg and Case, described the building as “predictably unpredictable.”

The newly renovated space offers a farmers market, a makers market, food vendors, restaurants, ice cream, coffee and a brewery upstairs.

The facility is 30,000 square feet inside and will also include an outdoor space to be constructed in its second phase that will include an amphitheater and event space.

The building took six years to complete and Todd Walker got the whole story and a tour of the end result.
