Infant, 2 others injured in Stearns County crash

STEARNS COUNTY, Minn. (KMSP) - A 7-month-old child, a 34-year-old and a 45-year-old were injured in a crash Friday afternoon in Stearns County, Minnesota.
Shortly before 3 p.m., the Stearns County sheriff's office and Paynesville responders were dispatched to a crash at County Road 16 and County Road 33 in Zion Township, Minn.
A 51-year old was driving a pickup truck pulling a gooseneck flatbed trailer. He had two passengers, a 34-year-old and 7-month-old. They are all from Tripoli, Iowa.
The pickup driver failed to stop for the stop sign at County Road 33 and was struck by a southbound Ford Edge driven by a 45-year-old from Paynesville. The cars then went into a ditch.
The passengers and the other driver were transported to the hospital where they were treated for injuries. The accident remains under investigation
