Good Samaritan attacked, sexually assaulted on I-35 near Esko, Minn.

The Carlton County Sheriff's Office is looking for a suspect who allegedly physically and sexually assaulted a good Samaritan along I-35 northbound near Esko, Minn. late Tuesday night, Feb. 3.

According to a statement released by the sheriff's office, an adult female pulled off the road sometime between 10:05 p.m. and 11:05 p.m. to help a pulled-over truck "described as an approximately 2003 Ford F-150 extended cab with black 'matte' paint and larger black 'matte' color wheels along with low profile tires." But when the woman stopped to help the motorist, "the [suspect] proceeded to both physically and sexually assault the female victim."

The suspect is described as a white man, late 20s to early 30s, with a medium build, short beard, and short brown hair. He was wearing a black Carhartt hoodie, blue jeans, and black work boots.
