Flights cancelled, delayed at MSP due to Wednesday snow

Flights at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport were delayed and even cancelled Wednesday after snow blanketed the region.

The airport tweeted that travelers should expect delays Wednesday night. They recommended contacting airlines to determine flight status before coming to the airport.

According to Flight Aware, 320 flights were delayed and 47 were cancelled as a result of the storm as of 4:45 p.m.

In addition, Flight Aware determined flights coming in to MSP were delayed an average of 2 hours and 9 minutes due to snow and ice.

Those flying out of the snowstorm Wednesday were delayed at MSP an average of 44 minutes.
