Coolest August since 2004

KMSP - Another storm brought yet more rain to much of the area Friday & Saturday just adding to the continued wet conditions across many parts of the state.  While not everyone is getting in on the soggy conditions, the metro certainly has seen our fair share of wet weather this month.  So much so in fact, it’s now the 10th wettest August on record. 

The wet weather has led to some cool temperatures, especially with the jet stream constantly getting pushed further south as each system passes by.  While it won’t be a top 10 cool August (and probably not even a top 25) it will be the coolest late summer month we have seen in more than a decade.
