Bystander shot outside Lyon's pub, downtown Minneapolis

A 31-year-old bystander was left injured after a shooting outside of the Lyon's Pub in Minneapolis.

Around 7:55 p.m. Saturday night, a group of young people were arguing with one another. Witnesses said during the argument, several shots rang out, and one hit a man nearby.

One bullet went through a skyway window, as well, damaging two panels.

Officers on bike, foot and squad car responded immediately and began searching the area for suspects.

Police found six people at the light rail Government Center station that fit witness descriptions. Those six are currently detained at the station.

The gun was recovered, and the injured person was taken to a nearby hospital for a non-life threatening injury to his leg.
