Brown County issued a No Travel Advisory Wednesday as drivers face whiteout conditions.

New Ulm Police shared photos of the snow, one showing a light fall and another showing extremely tough visibility less than an hour later. The Sheriff’s Office is urging travelers to postpone travel until weather and road conditions improve.

Snow and wind gusts reaching up to more than 50 mph will also make travel nearly impossible for other parts of western Minnesota.

Tough conditions can be seen on MnDOT cameras, including areas such as Highway 159 in St. Peter and Interstate 90 in Rockford.
