Arson suspected in New Hope apartment fire, $2500 reward offered
NEW HOPE, Minn. (KMSP) - New Hope police are investigating an apartment building fire as arson.
New Hope police and West Metro Fire-Rescue responded to the fire around 11 p.m. on Tuesday at the Tradewinds Apartments at 8100 45th Avenue North.
Police say the fire was located in a stairwell and later contained by firefighters.
The Red Cross is assisting displaced residents. No injuries were reported.
A reward of up to $2,500 is being offered for information about the fire. Anyone with information should call 1-800-723-2020
Golden Valley and Plymouth fire departments assisted in containing the fire.
