A haunting good time at The Grand Day Parade in Anoka

Halloween may still be a few days away, but that didn't stop people in the north metro from celebrating a little early at the Grand Day Parade in Anoka, Minnesota, on Saturday afternoon.

The city is celebrating 96 years as being the Halloween capital of the world, and the rain didn't stop parade-goers from having a good time.

“The people put a lot of effort in their floats, and I'm surprised there are so many people here in the rain.  It was fun,” Parade-goer Jenny Pekula said.

Other events included a haunted house, a gray ghost 5K and a spooktacular carnival.
