We have turned yet another calendar page as we start meteorological fall here in Minnesota. The next 30 days have the potential to serve up any kind of weather. From sultry heat to freezing cold, from rain to snow and everything in between. Here in the Twin Cities we have seen the thermometer dip as low as 26° and climb as high as 104°. September rain guages have measured as little as 0.01" to as much as 5.68". We have also seen September flakes fly and even accumulate as much 1.7". This is a month when we see the daylight hours shrink and the month when we officially welcome fall. Take a look at the slideshow for more weather history of September in the Twin Cities.
