4 dead, 1 injured in St. Paul shooting, toddler found before AMBER Alert issued
ST. PAUL, Minn. (KMSP) - The shooting took place at around 1 a.m. on the 1600 block of English Street.
Wade McIntosh and his two daughters, 17-year-old Olivia McIntosh and 19-year-old Maria McIntosh were found dead at the scene, with Wade’s ex-wife Anita Sprosty injured seriously and Maria’s 18-month-old daughter missing.
The baby’s father, 20-year-old Jeffery Jemaile Taylor, was later found dead by police canvassing the nearby area after apparently taking his own life, police said. Officers located his half-brother, 19-year-old Jeffery Arkis Taylor, hiding out in a nearby shed with the baby.
Jeffery Jemaile Taylor was involved in an intense custody dispute with Maria McIntosh over the child, according to multiple accounts.
Jeffery Arkis Taylor was arrested and booked into the Ramsey County Jail on three counts of aiding and abetting murder, one count of aiding and abetting attempted murder and one count of kidnapping.
The toddler was taken to Children’s Hospital for evaluation, but had no apparent injuries.
Police do not believe the shooting was random. The St. Paul Police Department Forensics Services Unit is currently processing three scenes and looking for additional evidence. Anyone in the area who finds possible evidence is asked to call 911.
