3 Mall of America stores to remain open on Thanksgiving

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (KMSP) - Mall of America announced three of its stores have chosen to stay open on Thanksgiving. In October, the mall announced it will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
Only stores with exterior entrances have the opportunity to be open on Thanksgiving. Macy’s, Sears and the Crayola Experience plan to be open. The mall says it doesn’t anticipate that list to change.

A spokesperson with the mall said, “We are so pleased that our tenants have embraced this opportunity to give their employees the day to enjoy Thanksgiving with their families and friends.”
Mall of America will continue its longstanding tradition of hosting the “Walk to End Hunger” on Thursday morning.
