2 boys rescued from Mississippi River in St. Paul, Minn.
ST. PAUL, Minn. (KMSP) - Two young boys were rescued from the Mississippi River in St. Paul, Minnesota Thursday morning.
A 14-year-old boy and a 10-year-old boy were swimming on Raspberry Island when the 10-year-old boy was carried away by the current, according to the St. Paul Fire Department. The 14-year-old boy jumped in after him.
Railroad workers and employees with Upper River Services rescued the two boys around 11 a.m. It is unknown how long they were in the water.
The boys were not hurt.
