$1,000 reward offered for information on vandalism at Edina park
EDINA, Minn. (FOX 9) - Police in Edina, Minnesota are offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for vandalism at Utley Park.
The vandalism occurred overnight on July 18 at the park at 4521 W. 50th Street. City of Edina spokesperson Kaylin Eidness said a chunk of the marble on the park's veterans memorial is missing. In the bathroom of the park, a soap dispenser was ripped off the wall and a door was ripped off the hinges.
Eidness said police believe the damage to the veterans memorial was possibly caused by a skateboarder.
