1 dead, 2 critical after motorcycle crash in East Bethel, Minnesota

1 woman died and 3 others are injured after motorcycles collided in East Bethel, Minnesota on Saturday.

The incident occurred at the intersection of northbound Highway 65 and 184 Avenue NE, in front of Route 65 Pub.

Both motorcycles were driven by an adult male with a female passenger. The motorcycles were both driving northbound when they collided.

The motorcyclists were not wearing helmets.

After the motorcycles collided, James Schaak pulled to the side of the road to help. A witness told Fox 9 that a female motorcyclist died in Schaak's arms.

Two helicopters were requested for medical airlift. The other woman involved and one of the men were each flown to a nearby hospital in critical condition. The other man was transported by ambulance with serious injuries.

At this time, Northbound MN-65 is closed from Crosstown Boulevard to Viking Boulevard.
