Welcome back humidity

For the first time this season, the humidity will be a noticeable part of the forecast! A beautiful sunny and dry weekend will give way to a more active weather pattern as we head into the work week. A slow moving area of low pressure will dominate the forecast and give the region a more summer like feel. A steady southerly wind flow will pull up warmth and moisture from the south. This increase in heat and humidity will also fuel the chance for scattered storms for a large portion of the week ahead.

Dewpoints are expected to rise back to the level where most of us will consider it humid. Although this is not going to be s swampy week, it will remind us that Minnesota does get humid, especially during the spring and summer months.
