Rain continues into overnight in metro while some areas see snow
Tuesday afternoon weather: Rain continues into evening, overnight
The rain continues tonight into Wednesday morning possibly mixing in with a little wet snow while areas North of The Metro will see sloppy snow accumulations in the 1"-3" range.
(FOX 9) - Moisture pouring into Minnesota from the south leading to widespread rain today and tonight for much of the area. The rain is the headline, but some flakes will be possible in the Twin Cities tonight and tomorrow that could lead to little minor coatings. Most though will stay north of the metro.
FOX 9's Karen Scullin suffers through the bad weather
Two days after brilliant, early spring weather, Minnesota got hit with dropping temps, plenty of rain and in some cases a little bit of snow. Much to the dismay of Karen Scullin.
The scattered light rain showers Tuesday morning will turn into a soaking rain midday and will hang around right through the evening commute. Temperatures will hover in the low to mid 40s with light northeast breezes, but those will begin to increase this evening.
The rain is expected to then linger into Wednesday morning.
