Timeline of possible Thursday storms in Twin Cities

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Isolated storms are tracking in from the west for mid-day Thursday in the Twin Cities, but stronger and more widespread scattered storms could push through with a cold front toward the late afternoon and evening.
What to expect in the Twin Cities metro: A spotty rumble is possible late Thursday morning into lunch time, but the threat of severe weather really kicks in after 6 p.m. Severe storm risks diminish after midnight as any rumbles weaken. Large hail and strong winds with localized heavy rainfall are the key risks, but an isolated tornado threat exists, especially for central Minnesota.
