By Monday night, the winds will calm slightly as temperatures dip into the lower 20s for the metro, with single digits in northern Minnesota.

What's next:
Tuesday continues with the trend of above-average temperatures as highs reach into the 40s, though it likely won’t feel that warm with the gusty breezes. The arrowhead region of Minnesota could see a couple of inches of snow on Tuesday, while the rest of Minnesota stays dry.
Wednesday will bring a slight dip in temperatures, but sunshine will accompany highs that remain 5–15 degrees above average across Minnesota.
By Thursday, temperatures may approach record highs, reaching near 50 degrees in some areas, well above the average high of 24 degrees. However, temperatures drop back into the 30s by Friday ahead of a cloudy and potentially more active weekend.
