An American tourist is facing federal charges after prosecutors say he went off-trail and suffered thermal burns in Yellowstone National Park.

The reddish-brown calves are born in late April and May and can keep up with the herd 2 to 3 hours after birth, according to the National Park Service.

The incident occurred on the evening of May 20 in the park's northeastern corner in Wyoming.
When park rangers responded to a vehicle crash, they found a deceased woman inside and a man standing on the outside.
Six of the original seven plaintiffs complied with the order and have revealed their names to the public last week.
The Wyoming Highway Patrol said troopers responded to over 100 crashes in 12 hours as heavy snow bands led to near-zero visibility.
