Xavier Rhodes spreads holiday cheer at U of M Children's Hospital
MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Vikings standout Xavier Rhodes spent Tuesday morning at Target, picking up toys for children who might not otherwise get the opportunity at a traditional holiday celebration.
It's the fourth annual event hosted by the pro-bowl cornerback to benefit patients at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital. He delivered the gifts himself, hoping to bring the gift of happiness to children who are stuck at the hospital during the holidays.
"We just want to bring some joy," Rhodes said. "It's a great feeling, to be able to do this for someone. It's priceless."
