Vikings practice at U.S. Bank Stadium for first time
MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - The Minnesota Vikings just got introduced to their new home at U.S. Bank Stadium. The team took the field for the very first time on Friday morning.
Players got to feel out the new turf and get an idea of what the new stadium will feel like for a game day.
With so many bright glass windows and large video boards, Coach Mike Zimmer made a point of making sure his team to get used to possible distractions. During the practice, he had the offense face the large video board to get more accustomed to the field.
The first real test on the field will come Sunday as the Vikings play at home against the San Diego Chargers.
