When asked by Fox 9’s Hobie Artigue if he was bringing a good luck charm to the Draft Lottery, Towns said, "I have one that could possibly give us the greatest luck of all time."
The Wolves have selected fifth overall four times: 1993, 1995, 1996 and 2009. Kevin Garnett was the fifth pick in 1995.
The Wolves enter the lottery with a 29.14 percent chance of landing a top-three draft pick this year with an 8.80 percent chance of receiving the top overall pick. Minnesota's most likely result is the sixth overall pick at 35.99 percent. The Draft Lottery will be on ESPN from the New York Hilton Midtown in New York City starting at 6:45 CT.
