USWNT to play Switzerland at U.S. Bank Stadium on Oct. 23

ESPN's X Games announces Minneapolis as new home

Soccer is coming back to U.S. Bank Stadium – the United States Women’s National Soccer Team will play an international friendly match against Switzerland in Minneapolis on Oct. 23.

The game will be the second meeting of the USWNT and Switzerland. The teams will first play each other on Oct. 19 in Utah. The U.S. has won the last two contests with Switzerland in 2014 and 2015.

Tickets for the match go on sale to the public on Sept. 2 at 11 a.m. Tickets are available at ussoccer.com, by phone at 1-800-745-3000, at all Ticketmaster ticket centers throughout the Twin Cities area and the U.S. Bank Stadium ticket office.

U.S. Soccer will offer a four-day Girl’s Fantasy Camp around the match in Minneapolis from Oct. 21 to 24. The camp is open to girls ages 12-14 and will be taught by former USWNT stars.
