Adrian Peterson expected at Vikings OTAs
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (KMSP) - Tuesday marked day one of Organized Team Activities for the Minnesota Vikings at Winter Park, and running back Adrian Peterson is expected to attend this week – something he hasn’t always done in the past, as least not right away.
His participation in the OTAs does go toward earning his $250,000 workout bonus, but this year's attendance seems to have a different flavor.
Last year, Peterson and his agent were apparently riled up about how the club handled his off-field issues while trade rumors swirled. Head coach Mike Zimmer told media last year the running back had two choices: play, or don’t play. A few days later, Peterson showed at Winter Park.
