Adrian Peterson expected at Vikings OTAs

Tuesday marked day one of Organized Team Activities for the Minnesota Vikings at Winter Park, and running back Adrian Peterson is expected to attend this week – something he hasn’t always done in the past, as least not right away.

His participation in the OTAs does go toward earning his $250,000 workout bonus, but this year's attendance seems to have a different flavor.

Last year, Peterson and his agent were apparently riled up about how the club handled his off-field issues while trade rumors swirled. Head coach Mike Zimmer told media last year the running back had two choices: play, or don’t play. A few days later, Peterson showed at Winter Park.
