9-year-old turns golf skills into a successful business

BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. (KMSP) - Brooklyn Park, Minn. boasts a talented young golfer in Seth Damsgard.  He not only plays on the Minnesota Jr. PGA beginners and transition tours, he also created computer drawings of each course to mark his distances ahead of time. That skill spawned a new company – Golf by Numbers.

Damsgard makes player’s guides for local golf courses. The guides have yardage books and illustrated reminders of the most common and difficult rules.
