Win your own toilet at the Twin Cities Marathon
MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Registration for the Twin Cities Marathon is officially open as of Feb. 2, but if you sign up for the Oct. 9 race from Feb. 2-9, you could win your very own personal toilet.
According to the Twin Cities Marathon website, the grand prize for early registrants includes a portable toilet at the start of the race that you can share with friends (if you want) and two tickets to the VIP tent at the finish line. Plus, 500 random registrants will receive a 26.2 sticker.|
“We know how important toilet availability is to runners before a race, and we realized this is something we could actually offer a runner. It’s not difficult to manage one VIP portable restroom, and we thought runners would have fun vying for the prize," executive director, Virginia Brophy Achman, said in a statement to Fox 9.
