White Bear Lake police investigating 2 suspicious deaths

WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. (KMSP) - White Bear Lake police are investigating two suspicious deaths after discovering two bodies inside a home on the 4700 block of Sandra Lane Tuesday morning. The bodies appear to have been in the home for an extended period of time, according to police.

Officers discovered the bodies around 7:32 a.m. after being called to the home to check the welfare of the occupants. The Ramsey County Medical Examiner and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are investigating how and when the individuals died.

Officers also found 59-year-old Robert Kuefler inside the residence. Kuefler was later arrested and transported to the Ramsey County Jail, where he is being held for financial exploitation of a vulnerable adult.

The case remains under investigation.
