The typical last freeze is fast approaching
KMSP - It’s spring… it’s now the end of April… so now we are thinking warmer weather… and that means the flowers return, the grass starts to grow, and the gardening begins. But not so fast! The spring can be deceiving because we can go from seemingly nice weather and warm temperatures, to sub-freezing faster than you can blink. In early April, freezes are still common… but by the time April finishes… we SHOULD be pretty much done with our 32 degree temps. Mother Nature has the final say of course, with late season freezes at the end of May happening every few years. Here is where the Upper Midwest stands when it comes to the AVERAGE last freeze.
