Suspect arrested in Minnetonka Blvd. apartment shooting

MINNETONKA, Minn. (KMSP) - Police have arrested a 29-year-old suspect in connection with a shooting at an apartment complex on Minnetonka Boulevard Wednesday night.

At about 11:45 p.m., Minnetonka police responded to a report of shots fired at the Overlook on the Creek Apartments at 9731 Minnetonka Boulevard. A man was found in the hallway with a gunshot wound in his abdomen when police arrived and was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center.

The victim's condition is unknown at this time, but he is expected to survive and was able to tell police the suspect’s name. He was arrested without incident at his residence in the 6400 block of Hampshire Avenue in Golden Valley.

Police are not looking for any other suspects.
