State Patrol troopers help deliver 4th of July baby on I-94

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Minnesota State Patrol troopers and other emergency responders helped deliver a baby girl on I-94 near the Lowry Hill Tunnel early Monday morning. 

The Minnesota State Patrol, Minneapolis Fire and North Ambulance responded to a person in labor on the interstate around 6:37 a.m. The state troopers on the scene helped deliver the baby. 

Both the mom and the baby were transported to the Hennepin County Medical Center.
