State Patrol investigating fatal motorcycle accident

WABASHA COUNTY, Minn. (KMSP) - The State Patrol is investigating an accident that killed a 34-year-old motorcyclist on Sunday afternoon in Wabasha County.
The State Patrol says a Ford Edge was traveling northbound on Highway 42 near Plainview when it collided with a PT Cruiser and a Harley Davison that were traveling in the southbound lane.
Christopher Nelson of Eyota, was driving the Harley Davidson. Nelson was not wearing a helmet.
The driver of the Ford Edge, 35-year-old Josh Hanson, suffered a non-life threatening injury and the State Patrol says alcohol was detected in his system.
The driver and passenger of the PT Cruiser suffered non-life threatening injuries.
