SKETCH: Suspect in sexual assault on I-35 near Esko

The Carlton County Sheriff's Office has released a sketch of the suspect who sexually assaulted a good Samaritan along I-35 northbound near Esko, Minn. on the night of Feb. 3.

According to sheriff's officials, a woman pulled off the road sometime between 10:05 p.m. and 11:05 p.m. to help a pulled-over truck, and the man sexually and physically assaulted her. 

Suspect description

"The suspect is described as a white male, late 20s to early 30s, medium build, with a shorter beard and short brown hair. He was wearing a black Carhartt hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black work boots," a news release said.

"The vehicle is described as an approximately 2003 Ford F-150 extended cab with black "matte" paint and larger black "matte" color wheels along with low profile tires. Attached is a photo that is similar to what is believed to be the style and look of the suspect's vehicle. Please note the photo is NOT of the specific suspect vehicle, but rather a photo of what the suspect vehicle may look like according to the victim."
