Authorities will resume searching Tuesday for a paddle boarder who went missing on Lake Waconia over the weekend.

Andrew Stifter, 35, of Waconia went to Lake Waconia on Saturday afternoon to photograph wildlife from his paddle board and never returned, the Carver County Sheriff’s Office says. He was reported missing around 3:00 p.m. after someone noticed an unoccupied paddle board on the lake about 100 feet offshore and called police.

Carver County deputies began their search efforts with a dive team on Saturday and continued on Sunday and Monday. Deputies have recovered property believed to belong to Stifter, but have not yet located the missing man.

Search efforts will resume on Tuesday morning.
