Prince memorial items at Paisley Park to be preserved
CHANHASSEN, Minn. (KMSP) - A professional archivist started gathering Prince memorial items placed outside of Paisley Park on Friday to preserve for future generations, according to Bremer Trust, the special administrator of the Prince estate.
Since Prince Rogers Nelson’s death on April 21, people have placed photographs, signs, paintings, flowers and more along the fence in honor of the artist. Bremer Trust consulted leaders of various historical societies, including the Minnesota Historical Society, on how to properly preserve items left in tribute.
There are no plans yet for a public display.
