Police: Man threw full can of Red Bull at Waite Park gas station clerk, injuring him

Update (Tuesday, April 2): The suspect turned himself into police on Tuesday and is cooperating with investigators, according to the Waite Park Police Department. The case will be turned over to the Stearns County Attorney's Office for charges. 

Police in Waite Park, Minnesota are looking for a man who threw a full can of Red Bull at a gas station employee, injuring his eye. They are also looking for a woman who helped drive the suspect away from the scene. 

The assault was reported at 11:23 p.m. Saturday. According to the Waite Park Police Department, the suspect entered the SuperAmerica on the 1400 block of Division Street and bought a can of Red Bull. As he was leaving the store, he got into an argument with one of the employees. 

The suspect threw the can of Red Bull at the employee, hitting him in the face. He then left the store in a silver, four-door car with a woman driving. 

The employee was taken to a nearby hospital to treat his injury. 

Police would like to talk to both the suspect and the woman who was driving the car. Police believe the pair came to the store after leaving the movie theater across the street.
