Minneapolis police investigators say they have identified the two people seen on surveillance camera near Lola on the Lake at Bde Maka Ska before the building caught fire last Thursday.

Police announced Tuesday they had opened a criminal investigation into the fire destroyed the building on the iconic lakeside pavilion, which was built in 1930 by the Minneapolis Parks and Recreation Department.

The woman seen on the surveillance video came forward voluntarily and has spoken with investigators, police said.

At this time, police say no arrests have been made and the investigation is still ongoing.
