One dead after shooting in Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - A shooting on Minneapolis' Northside left one dead on July 4th.

Minneapolis police say they responded to the 1400 block of Morgan Ave North around 3:30 p.m. Once on scene officers found a victim who was in critical condition, he was transported to HCMC where he died about an hour later.

Police detained a suspect and found a handgun at the scene.

It is believed the suspect and  the victim knew each.
