Name released in fatal Maple Grove crash
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner has released the name of the man killed in a crash in Maple Grove Friday afternoon.
Maple Grove police responded to a two vehicle crash at County Road 81 and Elm Creek Boulevard around 12:15. Police said Friday they do not have any known contributing factors for the crash and alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
The medical examiner's office says 50-year-old Tony Bjorklund was airlifted to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale where he later died from his injuries.
