More closures on I-35W, I-494 in Twin Cities this weekend

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Construction season continues with more road closures this weekend on Interstate 35W and Interstate 94 in the Twin Cities.
Northbound I-35W will be closed between Fourth Street Southeast in Minneapolis and Ramsey County Road C in Roseville from Friday, July 13 at 9 p.m. through 5 a.m. on Monday, July 16 for road resurfacing. Crews will be closing the on and off ramps along the highway starting at 8 p.m. Friday.
There will be four more northbound and southbound I-35W closures between Fourth Street Southeast and Ramsey County Road C on July 27-30, Aug. 3-6, Aug. 10-13 and Aug. 17-20.
Part of I-494 will close this weekend as well as crews work to build an entrance ramp from East Bush Lake Road in Bloomington to I-494 west.
Eastbound I-494 will be closed from Highway 169 to Highway 100 in Bloomington from Friday, July 13 at 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Monday, July 16.
The following weekend, westbound I-494 from Highway 169 to Highway 100 will close from Friday, July 20 to 5 a.m. Monday, July 23.
