Annual Martin Luther King Jr. breakfast

This year will mark the 35th annual Martin Luther King Jr. holiday breakfast in Minneapolis. This year's breakfast will be held at the Minneapolis Convention center and feature a speech by NPR journalist Michele Norris and musical performances. Tickets are required.
St. Cloud State MLK Day celebration

St. Cloud State University will hold a community celebration featuring a keynote address by Dr. Evelyn Hill. Tickets for the event are free, but online registration is required. The celebration will also be streamed on St. Cloud State's website.
Soul Bowl

Event will feature music and a fireside chat with Dr. Stacie Stanley, Josie R. Johnson, and Dr. Realtha Clark King. Registration is needed for the event.
Mankato State documentary screening

- Location: University’s Ostrander Auditorium, located in Centennial Student Union, 540 W Rd, Mankato, MN
The Kessel Peace Institute at Minnesota State University will premiere the documentary "MLK 11.12.61" which recounts Dr. King's visit to Mankato on that date. The film is free and open to the public. A panel discussion will follow.
