Man dies in crash near Northfield, Minn.

RICE CO., Minn. (KMSP) - A man has died after a fatal head-on crash just west of Northfield, Minnesota, Thursday afternoon.
Officers from Rice County sheriff’s office responded to a crash on Highway 19 where a Ford Fusion was heading east when it was hit by a westbound Toyota Corolla that had crossed the centerline.
The driver of the Toyota, 29-year-old Cosmus Arita of Northfield, was killed in the crash, and the driver of the Ford, a 23-year-old man, was transported to Northfield Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
