Man arrested in connection to Knox Ave shooting death

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Minneapolis Police made an arrest in connection to a fatal shooting on Knox Ave. N last week, according to a press release.

With help from the public, detectives identified 41-year-old Marcell Scott as a suspect. Investigators began surveillance and arrested Scott late Saturday night.

Scott has been booked into Hennepin County Adult Detention Center for probable cause murder.

Thursday night, Minneapolis Police responded to a report of muffled gunshots at a home on the 3500 block of Knox Avenue N. When officers went into the house they found a man who appeared to have been shot and killed.
