Hit and run involving stolen vehicle leaves one person in critical condition
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (KMSP) - One person is in critical condition after a hit and run crash involving a stolen vehicle in Minneapolis Sunday morning.
Police responded to Lowry Avenue North and Penn Avenue North around 10 a.m.
Minneapolis police say the stolen vehicle hit another vehicle while traveling southbound on Penn Avenue North.
The driver of the stolen vehicle fled the scene. Two people were in the vehicle that was hit and both were transported to North Memorial. The driver has been released from the hospital, but the passenger remains in critical condition.
The incident is under investigation.
